Dr. Sakeenah Ameen is the founder and Medical Director of Aafiyat Medical Center, created with the goal of bringing comprehensive, compassionate medical care under one roof. With over 15 years of experience as a family physician in the Greater Toronto Area, Dr. Ameen is known for her fun-loving personality, clinical excellence, and deep commitment to patient well-being.
She hails from a small town in India, was raised in the Middle East and completed her medical degree at MGM Medical College in Navi Mumbai. After moving to Canada, she trained at multiple hospitals across the GTA before completing her Family Medicine residency at Queen’s University.
Dr. Ameen began her career in Richmond Hill and now practices in Mississauga, where she continues to build a welcoming, patient-centred practice. Her clinical services include:

In addition to family medicine, Dr. Ameen has co-founded Aafiyat Advanced Aesthetics alongside her partner Tasneem, offering aesthetic treatments and skin rejuvenation services tailored to everyone’s needs.
Dr. Ameen is fluent in Urdu, Hindi, and Gujarati, allowing her to connect with a diverse patient community and provide culturally sensitive care.
Outside of her medical work, Dr. Ameen is a fun-loving, community-oriented person who is passionate about helping others live healthier, more confident lives.
