Dr. Sakeenah Ameen is the medical director of Aafiyat medical center which she has founded to bring various medical services under one roof.

She is a caring family physician practicing in the GTA for about 15 years.
Dr. Sakeenah is a fun-loving person and is passionate about her role as a physician and responsible member of the community.

She hails from a small town in India, grew up in the Middle East and finished her medical school at MGM College in Navi Mumbai.

After moving to Canada, she trained at various hospitals in the GTA and completed her family medicine residency at Queens University.

She started her career in family practice in Richmond hill before moving to Mississauga 8 yrs. ago. She hopes to continue to build her family practice and provide various services such as primary care including mother and baby checkups, routine vaccinations, diabetic checks etc.

She has initiated a new venture called Aafiyat advanced aesthetics with her partner, Tasneem to provide skin rejuvenation treatments and other Aesthetic Procedures.
