Dr. Sana Merchant is a highly trained pediatrician with specialized expertise in Pediatric Gastroenterology. She completed her medical degree at the Medical University of the Americas, followed by a pediatric residency at the University of Florida – Jacksonville. She then pursued advanced training through a fellowship in Pediatric Gastroenterology at Maria Fareri Children’s Hospital in Westchester, New York.
Dr. Merchant provides both primary pediatric care and consultative services in general pediatrics and pediatric gastroenterology, with a focus on diagnosing and managing digestive disorders in children, including abdominal pain, reflux, constipation, food intolerances, and more.
Known for her compassionate and thoughtful approach, Dr. Merchant is dedicated to supporting children and their families through every stage of care. She is fluent in English and Urdu, allowing her to effectively communicate with a diverse patient population and provide culturally sensitive care.
Outside of her professional life, Dr. Merchant enjoys travelling and spending quality time with her family.
